Royal Haskoning consultants are working day in day out on sustainable solutions for people and their environment. Our projects place us at the centre of the community. This gives us tremendous inspiration, but at the same time it means we also have a special responsibility – to our clients, employees and business partners, and also to the community in which we live and work.
As far as Royal Haskoning is concerned, corporate social responsibility (CSR) has always been a matter of course by virtue of the nature of our work. There are many definitions currently being used for CSR. In our opinion it is a way of doing business aimed at achieving a sustainable balance between People, the Planet and Profit, or the 3P balance.
Royal Haskoning wants to work with its stakeholders to find this balance and create a sustainable interaction between the company and its immediate environment.
Royal Haskoning wants to conform to the OECD guidelines for multinationals. CSR in Royal Haskoning is being given shape and content in four dimensions:
