Technology playground design in Amsterdam

Together with 90 children of group 7 (aged 10 and 11) at 3 primary schools Royal Haskoning employees from the Amsterdam office have been thinking about the way a technology playground could be built at a strip of undeveloped land close to the future community school Amsterdam Zuidoost.

There were lessons at the schools about the design process in general, and about landscaping, architecture and construction in particular. The children produced drawings and models of their ideas for pieces of technology playground equipment and how the space can be laid out.
Royal Haskoning specifies the chosen designs to a practical and workable plan for the technology playground.
