A helping hand at Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough

Thorpe Hall Hospice is strongly depending on trusts and donations. Employees from Royal Haskoning’s office in Peterborough therefore went to the hospice to help out. The work involved decorating the “garden room” which is the Halls chapel of rest and then providing landscaping help within the grounds preparing for their annual Summer Fun Day and other garden tasks.

Thorpe Hall is a grade one listed building, built in the 17th century and is situated in a grade two listed gardens that are open to members of the public throughout the year. Thorpe Hall Hospice cares for people with active, progressive and advanced illness where the focus of care is quality of life. The Hospice is run by Sue Ryder Care.
