Royal Haskoning reported a turnover of € 149 million in the first half year of 2007. This is an increase of 14% compared to the same period of 2006. The net profit for the first six months of 2007 amounts to € 5,4 million. The net profit for the first half of 2006 was € 5,2 million, including extraordinary income of € 2,4 million. The Denis Wilson Partnership, which was acquired recently, has also contributed to the net result for the first half year of 2007.
The increase in turnover is mainly caused by autonomous growth. The United Kingdom showed a substantial growth of 28%. Turnover in Belgium and France remained on the same level. Turnover realized on the Dutch market showed an increase of 13%.
Royal Haskoning expects to continue the growth during the second half year of 2007. The challenge thereby is the ability to recruit sufficient staff in a tight labour market.
