Jan Bout, Chairman of Royal Haskoning’s Board of Management, was presented with the Influencer of the Year Award yesterday. This award is given to pioneers in the building industry. He was commended for his innovative activities in the building industry and for his promotional efforts in gender diversity.
Other nominees were Nico de Vries, member of the Executive Board of the Royal BAM Group, for his efforts in the areas of corporate society responsibility and transparency, and Aike Schoots, director of Strukton Railinfra, for his innovations in rail transport.
Jan Bout is delighted with the award. ‘The nomination took me completely by surprise. Colleagues in the building industry submitted candidates and made a choice from the nominees. They are among the best managers there are. I regard it as a great honour to have been awarded this prize.’
