Roxit and Royal Haskoning have recently started working together on the integration of two systems: Squit XO and SESOM. This unique collaboration will make a complete and integrated solution for granting and enforcing permits available to local authorities, environmental protection services and provinces.
The linking of applications and content is a logical consequence of this collaboration. Partly because both organisations serve the same client base, they soon realised that there was a need for a single solution, a complete package of products and services for granting and enforcing permits. Integrating the two systems creates a unique product that meets the needs of the market in terms not only of functionality and technology but also of content.
Squit XO integrates all the existing permitting- and enforcement tasks in a single system ranging from simple felling permits to complex building or environmental permits, and from exemption procedures to planning procedures for new zoning plans. SESOM is software with a large, up to date package of texts for drawing up permits. The texts are continuously updated in line with amendments to legislation and regulations. Subscribers are provided with an updated package of text six times a year.
Roxit and Royal Haskoning are also working together to provide substantive checklists for (mobile) enforcement. In this way, the collaboration will result in a substantive coherence between the granting and enforcement of permits.
