Staff at an international firm of consulting engineers are officially working for one of the best companies in the country. Royal Haskoning was listed as being among the top 100 UK companies, for the second year running, as voted for by its employees. The same league table placed the company 24th for what it does to protect the environment.
The Dutch-based specialist engineering and environmental consultants beat off stiff competition from more than 800 other companies to land a place among the elite.
Royal Haskoning was highly praised for its low staff turnover of just 8%, its training, job security, flexible conditions, benefits and high morale.
The accolade, revealed in the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to work for, is a major achievement for the company.
Moira Froggatt, HR Director, said: “We are delighted with the results. This year the competition has been tougher than ever before, with a huge increase in the number of companies involved. The results come from more than 800 companies and over 180,000 people. It’s a tremendous boost for everyone associated with the company. The fact that it was our employees who voted for it makes it all the more special.”
