Mobility
Mobility will continue to be high up on the political and business agendas in the decades ahead. The problem of congestion is found in every densely populated and urbanized area, and a creative long-term policy is needed. On the one hand the infrastructure needs to be extended and made more rugged, while on the other hand scarce areas of countryside have to be protected.
If people and freight are to be taken to their destinations on time, innovative transport concepts as well as substantial investments are necessary. New and improved connections will be unavoidable, but no solution is acceptable without consideration being given to the ecology, quality of life and safety.
