Young Royal Haskoning
When you arrive at Royal Haskoning as a ‘junior’, you naturally have to get accustomed to it. A new job, new colleagues, a new or different way of working and a large company with a great diversity of disciplines and areas of work undertaken in a great many countries throughout the world. But you don’t get proper time to get to know the company, because you are thrown straight in the deep-end and before you know it, you’re running from one project to another. Or from one country to another. There’s nothing wrong with that in itself. It’s why working for Royal Haskoning is so great. It’s dynamic and varied. Always a new client, a new job and a new challenge.

And yet... sometimes you get the feeling that working for Royal Haskoning could be more than just running projects. You really want to know what else is going on inside the company. You wonder how other young colleagues cope with work challenges, and you start to think about your own career development and where you see yourself in three years’ time. At times like these it’s good to come in contact with colleagues from other advisory groups, divisions and branches. To have a look round the company and to get to know other disciplines and advisory practices. Perhaps you even have ideas about how things can be improved, how we can be smarter in using our skill and knowledge, or how we can arrange things better internally. You want to get these ideas out in the open. But above all, it’s simply nice to know exactly what we do as a company so that you can proudly say: I work for Royal Haskoning!
Young Royal Haskoning
Young Royal Haskoning brings you in contact with other young colleagues, gets you acquainted with the many facets of our company and allows you to exchange ideas about work and the way we go about it. We organise get-togethers and sailing trips, but also plan outings to spectacular projects and organising lectures about issues that appeal to us. And, of course, the Young Arena, where young Haskoning employees discuss topics and challenges relevant to the company with members of the Board and Management Council.
