For the realisation of a off gas abatement plant for a new bake furnace, the following activities were performed:

- Technical and economic feasibility study on alternative 
  emission reduction techniques (BAT) for the reduction
  of tar, volatile organic compounds and fluoride;

- Conceptual design of the new off gas abatement plant
  comprising: ceramic filtering units, a Regenerative
  Thermic Oxidizer and a moving chalk bed, to comply
  with Dutch emission regulations and limit values;

- Environmental Impact Assessment;

- Quantitative Risk Analysis, Fire Reports and Industrial
  Safety Reports;

- Design of the requisition for quotations, based on the
  system configuration, the emission requirements, as
  well as the required availability and time schemes;

- Supervision over the quotation process, including
  technical and economic bid evaluation;

- Project management during erection, commissioning
  and start up of the new bake furnace as well as the off
  gas abatement plant.
