SHIN-ETSU PVC operates a VCM and PVC production facility in the harbour of Rotterdam. Client wishes to extend the production capacity of PVC. SHIN-ETSU PVC requested Royal Haskoning for Engineering Services to execute the project in an extreme short period.

This “brown field” project included over the 200 tie-ins and 40 equipment items including reactor, vessels, column, pumps, dryer, conveying system, decanters, chilled water unit and cooling tower. Furthermore existing buildings had to be modified and extended, while the plant has to remain in full production. Due to the excellent cooperation and our flexibility with regard to the growth of scope the project was handed over on time.
