The project provides for the design and related services for a ship lift of 100 x 15 meters for ships with a maximum weight of 4,000 tons and a maximum draught of 10 meters.
The structural steel platform is operated by 22 computer-controlled winches. The lift is provided with a special system to position ships over the keel blocks.
The first ships to be handled by the lift were 4 Walrus-class submarines for the Dutch Navy.
