The preliminary design of the Ferry terminals in Dubai is finished. The Royal Haskoning teams that worked on it are very proud because this is a prime example of collaboration overseas between Europe and Dubai, Maritime and Architecture & Building. The design will now be handed to our client.

The new Dubai Creek ferry terminals are designed as a world class addition to the Dubai Public transport system, fully integrated to a multimodal public transportation network with the bus, Abra and metro network. The terminals feature the very latest in modern amenity for the commuters and tourists, making them popular as a transport option well into the future.



Each terminal is unique in appearance and form, reflecting the different circumstances at each location, but conceived with the similar main elements like waiting areas, floating pontoons and an overhanging roof.



The terminals themselves are to fit carefully in their respective environments, ranging from a heritage site at Al Ghubaiba, to a free standing position in the middle of the Creek at Union Square.
