EU/ESPACE meeting "Adapting to climate change: a spatial challenge!"

Wednesday 14th May Royal Haskoning organised a successful EU/Espace conference on “Adaptating to climate change: a spatial challenge?” in The Hague.
Assigned by the Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment (VROM), projectmanager Marnix de Vriend (Coastal & Rivers, Nijmegen, chairing the conference) with Petra Dankers, Jessica van den Broek and Peter de Vries prepared the meeting within a short period of 6 weeks. Their objective was to identify special challenges and solutions to adapt to different climate change aspects in European countries as well as best (project) practices, that could be of interest to other European countries.
