Implementation of SEVESO II Directives in Poland

The project comprised the training of 100 Polish authority staff from the Central Inspectorate for Environmental Inspection and from the State Fire Service on the European Seveso II Directive (directive 96/82/EU and 2003/105/EC).
 
The SEVESO II Directives regulate the control of major accident hazards from industry. The project consisted of the selection and translation of relevant reference documents on the EU Seveso II directive and the development of training materials for and the training of 100 Polish authority staff from the Central Inspectorate for Environmental Inspection and from the State Fire Service, who are involved in the implementation and uphold of the Seveso II directive (i.e. directive 96/82/EU and 2003/105/EC), in Poland. Furthermore an in-depth training of 20 Polish future trainers was provided and a training framework for future training on Seveso II subjects was prepared.
