In a continuation of the previously executed Coastal Protection Study, we provided Pre-Contract Services, Supervision Services and Maintenance Period Services for the execution of the Coastal Protection Project.
 
The Pre-Contract Services consisted of the handling of all tender matters during the tender period, including answering questions from tenderers, arranging, co-coordinating and attending the pre-tender visit, and tender evaluation.
Supervision and contract administration of the Coastal Protection Project comprised all supervision and contract activities related to the construction of:
- two beach nourishments with a total quantity of 2,400,000 m3 of sand
- reshaping a natural sandbank by cutting and filling 435,000m3 of sand
- construction of 5 groynes and a revetment
- construction of a T-groyne
- dredging a sand trap and a ferry channel
The assistance for Coastal Zone Management focused on setting up of a Unit and enhancement of its capacity by providing training on the job and training abroad.
