As a Navigations specialist you will deal with topics related to:

Channel design,

Fast Time Simulations,

Real Time Simulations,

Specialist advice on Aids to Navigation issues.
Profile
-
Solid experience with port development related nautical issues
-
Demonstrated experience with ship simulation software, Fast Time Simulations
-
Demonstrated experience with Real Time Simulations is considered a PRE
-
Experience / Affinity with Channel Design (PIANC guidelines)
-
Experience / Affinity with Aids to Navigation / VTMS is a PRE
-
Strong communication and reporting skills
-
Very proficient in the English language (both verbally and in writing, including reporting)
-
Ability to travel very regularly overseas for short periods
Organisation
The Business Group Maritime NL consists of a team of circa 75 engineers, advisors and project managers carrying out maritime projects in the Netherlands and overseas, notably in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. Port authorities, port organisations, shipping lines as well as contractors, oil-companies and multinational financiers and commercial banks are our main Clients. In the Netherlands the Business Group Maritime NL has offices in Rotterdam and Nijmegen.
