Plants and process installations
For the realisation of a off gas abatement plant for a new bake furnace, the following activities were performed:
  • Technical and economic feasibility study on alternative emission reduction techniques (BAT) for the reduction of tar, volatile organic compounds and fluoride;
  • Conceptual design of the new off gas abatement plant comprising: ceramic filtering units, a Regenerative Thermic Oxidizer and a moving chalk bed, to comply with Dutch emission regulations and limit values;
  • Environmental Impact Assessment;
  • Quantitative Risk Analysis, Fire Reports and Industrial Safety Reports;
  • Design of the requisition for quotations, based on the system configuration, the emission requirements, as well as the required availability and time schemes;
  • Supervision over the quotation process, including technical and economic bid evaluation;
  • Project management during erection, commissioning and start up of the new bake furnace as well as the off gas abatement plant.
