Urban infrastructure

For this project, the main infrastructure of several quarters in the Vinex location Haarlemmermeer needed to be adapted and extended. Part of the extension included the N205, known previously as the N22-south, and the Venneperweg. The N205 is a 2x2 lane highway measuring 8 km in length. The road contains 7 civil structures. Aside from the main civil structures, the work also included the placing of sound barriers, plate steel dolphins and reinforced ground walls. The Venneperweg, a provincial road, was completely reconstructed. The axis of the road was moved, so that it was placed in the existing watercourse. This, in combination with the quality of the ground and the fact that it was impossible to shut down the busy road for long periods of time, lead to complex phased work with traffic measures. Furthermore, our architecture department designed and built two bridges for this road.
