Structural design

'De Rotterdam' will be a multifunctional high rise building located on the Wilhelmina Pier in Rotterdam. This building creates space for living and working in a "vertical city". We have worked on this project in various stadia from the first draft. We are responsible for the supervision and structural design in the coming years.

'De Rotterdam' (a design by Rem Koolhaas) will reach 149 meters in height and will be one of the highest buildings in the city. The three towers each include more than 40 levels and will accommodate offices, a four star hotel, 228 apartments, restaurants, shops and 640 parking places. The garage is situated in two underground and three aboveground levels. The total surface is approx. 160.000 m2.
This building will be the largest multifunctional building project in The Netherlands.
