Royal Haskoning has produced its final report ‘Evaluation Group risk Policy’ to the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment. With this evaluation, the Minister fulfills a promise made in 2006 to the Parliament to evaluate the policy after five years.   
Results
The report consists of an evaluation of the major tool for policy effectuation and finishes off with an exploration of possible solutions. Research results indicate that application of the mentioned tool calls for strong improvement and gives clear explanations for this observation. On the basis of observations and explanations the report provides beginnings for viable solutions.

Royal Haskoning and sustainable safety
With this project Royal Haskoning adds to the development of its theme ‘Sustainable Safety’. Safety is a recognised societal theme and calls increasingly for sustainable solutions. Solutions that recognise spatial needs and economic growth.
