Royal Haskoning participates in an active role at the 13th International Waste Management and Landfill Symposium in Sardinia on 3-7 October 2011.
The following three topics within the framework of our vision on sustainable landfill management will be presented: 
 
  1. Sustainable emission reduction of ammonia from a landfill body using the anammox-process at the Vlagheide landfill (NL)
  2. Feasibility study sustainable material and energy recovery from landfills in Europe.
  3. Progress of sustainable landfill stabilization after 3 years of leachate recirculation at the Vlagheide landfill (NL)
